Where is the Kingdom of GOD?

Jesus Christ told the Pharisees long ago that the Kingdom of GOD comes not by observation, but that it is within you (Luke 17:20-21). What this does NOT mean is that the Kingdom of GOD is literally inside of you. What this DOES mean is that the Kingdom of GOD starts inside of you. Flesh and bone cannot inherit the Kingdom of GOD, because His Kingdom is incompatible with sin. However, His Spirit, which if you are elect, was placed within us before the world even came to be. We were all predestined by His Power.

Since the physical body cannot accept the Kingdom of GOD, then it is reasonable to say that: Our spirit is the receiver of the Kingdom of GOD – as in, it is a gift of GOD – and that gift is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ (No one comes to GOD, but by Jesus Christ). When His Spirit works with our spirit, our soul experiences miraculous things. When the physical body fails to operate, our soul and spirit ascend to Heaven where GOD appoints the elect spirit/soul to a new body (physically immortal).

We are made in the image of GOD, and became a son of GOD when we were elected to be with Him eternally (John 1:12-13).

Aggregation of our Facebook teachings (Course in a post)

As we are turning the tide of ministry around the globe, it’s been decided that our teaching on Facebook is not reaching enough people; therefore, since we need a much larger pulpit to the world, we are migrating much of our work to here from Facebook to remove the dependency on Facebook to help us distribute. More and more, cultural and religious type posts fall under their demotion algorithm, which ruins our chances at influencing.

Please spread our information as much as possible, for this is the Will of Christ Jesus, our Lord. This is not an exhaustive amount of our teachings; however, this is what was transferred over to here. Teachings are most recent and descending. These are similar to daily devotions.

April 23, 2021: Not even the paper and ink will I use to come to you, for I want to see you face to face. (2 John 1:12).I think we should all follow John’s example, and lessen social media and impersonal notes. After all, we must make best use of our time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16). When you do speak, do not be the fool who lacks understanding but just wants to speak their opinion (Proverb 18:2), but expressing your wise thought concerning whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8).

April 19, 2021: People use labels all the time, but let them. If people tie themselves to the world placing on themselves insignia (labels in their brains that are likely the mark of the beast should they be depraved instead of saved) or tattoos that make them look like a slave – you can tell them it is wrong, but if GOD wills, they may repent. Do not be dismayed that the world is suffering, for many of the world are eternally lost. If you stay on the negative side of things, you will experience despair. But, if you are on the celebratory side of things, you know you can rejoice now forevermore, because you are marked with the Holy Ghost and only desire to preach the good news – after all, it’s Heaven from hereupon. What do we have to worry about?

If you are not communing with others in an air of honor for their work for the Lord, do not expect them to do the same for you. Commune with others as you would desire they commune with you (Matthew 7:12). God’s Elect are not of the world system, as in they do not have world desires – like respect (power). However, respect as a form of honor is due for all who work well for the Lord.

People are searching for a sign: Jesus tells us look no further than that of the prophet Jonah (Matthew 12:39). Your miracle is awaiting.People are searching for identity: Jesus tells us we are made in the image of GOD (Genesis 1:27), and that we are the children of GOD foreordained before being in the mother’s womb to go about in good works (Ephesians 1:5) – not in darkness, but in His Marvelous Light (1 Peter 2:9; Jeremiah 1:5). Christ Jesus lives inside the elect, and nothing can change that (Galatians 2:20). All of the elect are one part of the Body of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). Not servants, but friends (John 15:15). YOUR LIFE is hidden in Christ in GOD, and will remain as that way should you be an elect of GOD (Colossians 3:1-4). If you can declare Jesus as Lord and know you mean it, then you are elect. As well, if you can declare that GOD created us, and sanctified us to be in His Good Works forever – this is another assurance you are elect. Galatians 3:27 calls the elect one of Abraham’s offspring, which are heirs of the promise. What is the promise? The elect will be given eternal life and be with GOD eternally. All those of GOD’S SPIRIT (the elect) are sons of GOD (Romans 8:14-15). What is the way I as an elect shall live my life? Live it like a party, be in celebration and full of peace, joy, and righteousness forever. Seriously, celebrate. Eternal life begins now and shall remain. Just avoid foul parties that involve several bad factors (look in Galatians 5:19). See Ephesians 5 about how we should be living life. Party lifestyle is not as the world sees it, don’t be like the world. What I mean is that this interpretation says to sing to each other, enjoy each other in love, have grace, peace, love, joy, self-control, and so many more good things. Leave alone the things of the world that rot. Enjoy the things of eternal behold. Rely on these instructions to keep things on the straight and narrow (along with reading all of the word, but especially): 1 Peter 2:1-12. Also reference Psalm 23 if you feel doubt. But the point of this life is to celebrate GOD in all that you do (See Psalm 5). Avoid such things as the works of the flesh referenced above and avoid things described in 1 John 2:16-17: Lust of eyes & flesh, and the pride of life. When you are elect, this life is not yours, it belongs to GOD no matter what occurs (Romans 14:8).

April 13, 2021: Fake media. I truly dislike the world system, you know the system that tries to distract you from God? Many to most media is so fake! People are deceiving masses upon masses on multimedia, and people let themselves be enslaved to that. Why… Why do you let mass media enslave you? If we need to talk about slavery, we start with the devil’s slavery on most people of the world right now. The power to make beautiful music is what Lucifer had, and guess what? He uses it as hypnosis to enslave the entire world. So many outlets of media and sinfulness broadcast the devil’s reproach of God and God’s People. Wake up to the true reality: Slavery begets slavery, and it all started with the devil and will end with the devil. REFUSE THE MARK OF THE BEAST — BE SAVED BY GOD’S ETERNAL PLAN.

April 11, 2021: My experience with a missionary long ago was a pastor asking me about my faith. To his question, I answered, “yes, I walk by faith, not by sight, not by power, not by might, but ‘by my Spirit,’ saith the Lord.” The missionary had a look on his face… You can imagine what he was thinking.

April 8, 2021: READ CAREFULLY: If you are in a church and your pastor/leader is giving you the signal that worldliness and godliness are both good or only worldliness; and you follow that… It is a lukewarm church. They are purposely telling you that mixture is okay and giving you false teaching or prophecy to keep you bound enough to stay there and not grow too fast. This tends to be more of a focus on the church making money instead of sending disciples. If I operate a church, I always tell my members that I expect them to go eventually, but I don’t mind coming back or if they are a local missionary, because a church is a spiritual home. The Bible says a few things to note: come out from the world to be separate and unique as a Christian to set an example of godliness to attract more people to eternal life, lukewarm people will be spewed from God’s Mouth, and go and make disciples of all nations. Once you accomplish being separate of the world, you will see the freedom you have now and know just how abominable the world can be. Let’s just say to avoid spiritual inflammation.

March 31, 2021:

Ephesians 4:15 is repeatedly taken out of context “speak the truth in love,” which has been said to speak the truth softly to someone or to speak to them with no harsh tones or to keep from saying something that might offend someone. PLEASE READ THIS CONTEXT…Ephesians 4:11-16, “11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;[[DO YOU FIT THIS ^^^^^^ CATEGORY?]]12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”So looking at this context from 14-16, it appears some deceivers will slip in among the midst of the body of Christ (the believers). Do you expect to just speak softly to them or tell them what they want to hear? NO! YOU REBUKE THEM! You tell them to straighten up the act, because they will be held at discipline before God. WE SPEAK THE TRUTH TO PEOPLE IN ANY FORMAT BECAUSE WE LOVE PEOPLE AND LOVE GOD!Try not to overdo the “carefulness aspect”, and work more on actual edification. Stand out and be free to be who God created you to be. If you want to tell someone to leave a sinful lifestyle, for example, you do so because you care for them since that sinful lifestyle is trying to destroy their life!!!Get out of the boat and into the water… You of little faith. Watch God bloom your faith big and tall.

You’re being robbed of your blessing if your preacher is only giving you soft truth and padding your armor. (1 John 3:18 < READ THIS!)

March 29, 2021: Before troubling someone, ask yourself if this would be the ideal last moment with them. If not, and you want to make sure you leave a good impression (and a good legacy), then truly decide your interaction before a meet. If someone was to be enraptured by Christ Jesus tomorrow, would you be satisfied with how they were treated… Or better yet, find this challenge… Would you be satisfied with the fact you did not talk with someone about Salvation, for if they passed tomorrow they could *possibly* not be saved and therefore be destroyed in eternal fire. BE INTENTIONAL ABOUT YOUR LIFE.

Trying to not get carried away but here goes… a bold preaching from Paul from the New Testament… I encourage marriage between a non-confused male and female, because of this one very important piece, which is that reaching sexual maturity is of high importance, for the misdeeds of sexual things of the flesh is quite harmful to the human body. Become sexually mature quickly and know that relations should be between Husband and Wife (no extramarital conduct whatsoever). The Bible is very clear of sexual problems. Don’t let it inflame your soul.

Per my recent post of the Rocks will Cry Out. This interpretation is based upon the following:Isaiah 55:12 says, “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” Throughout Psalm 148, there are numerous examples of created things praising their Creator—the sun, moon, stars, heavens, water, sky, animals, and people.Because of the refusal to not give praise unto the Lord, the rocks (unbelievers) would cry out in song, because they long for their ways to be “right” even though they’ll never be.So don’t let those who praise evil be able to speak loud… You encourage your voice to speak louder than the evil ones, because Our God is Greater than anything on Earth and within the heavens and the place of Hades.

March 27, 2021: Wake up sleeper, don’t be silent about the Lord, or the rocks will cry out (Luke 19:40).The peace all of you crave is hidden from you. (Luke 19:41-44)

March 23, 2021: I really believe the Bible gives a good admonition for those who don’t have personal peace. It’s found in Romans 12:1-8…1. Offer your body as a living sacrifice, so therefore, be alive to serve God forevermore.2. Do not try to conform or be as the ways of this world… It is so difficult and time consuming to impress people. It is better to renew your mind and focus on the spiritual aspects that are easily missed: Worship God, attending to nature, praying, seeing art, listening to spiritual music, and so much more.3. Don’t think you are any better than other people, just think of God and how wonderful He is.4. For those who have specific gifts as the ones listed: teaching, leading, prophecy, serving, giving, showing mercy, or encouraging – You should use these in all that you do. Beautiful spiritual blessings erupt for you when you do as you are purposed in the Holy Spirit.

March 16, 2021: People need to hear the truth, but don’t want to – afraid it may seem discriminating; however, God does not lie and will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). Instead, people tend to gather “teachers” or “preachers” who speak things that people want to hear — example: ‘God will make you rich’, ‘God will give you what you want’, ‘Give your tithe and offering, and receive a blessing overflow’. Have you heard that if people promise you things that cannot be verified or saying “it *Will* fix your problem” – you should run the other way? This life is between GOD and you – GOD to person relationship. It only matters what He says about you. Follow His Word! Be saved from the destructive heresies. (See more in 2 Timothy 4). It is very difficult to find a truth teacher who stays fundamental to Biblical doctrine and does not allow himself to be swayed by societal norms or cultural problems. If you are in search, you are not alone. I am looking for the same, an actual fundamental preacher who matches a close Biblical finding. They are out there, and are a remnant just like the Body of Christ is just a remnant of the world.Salvation is not about you, it is about Jesus Christ. Take the blinders off and see Christ Jesus today in your life (Philippians 3:9-11). Those who have Jesus, though, are special, and blessed, and have life eternal. Yes, you will always be with GOD is you are saved. The message of Salvation seems foolish for those who are perishing, but to the Saved, it is good news that is your power from God – the only source of all power (1 Corinthians 1:18). You did not choose God… God chose you! (John 6:44).

Do not trust those who only speak well of you (spiritual leader situations) – for that is how false prophets were treated and how false prophets act as well. Everybody needs praise and rebuke, not just praise (Luke 6:26; 1 Timothy 5:20; 2 Timothy 4:2). Therefore, if your Bible teacher/preacher is not rebuking and praising, then there may be a problem.

Oh how many Christian pharisees we have today. Be on the lookout for them according to Matthew 23:1-29 – this is where Jesus instructs how to identify pharisees (which you will probably see them teaching the Bible adorned with beautiful garments and super personalities).

Note about false teachers from 2 Peter 2:2: Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered.

“For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:24).

Just so you know, if you follow mass media, you are being hypnotized often. They use hypnosis in almost all facets of media. Look up music hypnosis/sound healing, visual hypnosis such as video, trigger words, hypnotic worship, etc. It goes on and on.

March 15, 2021: Basic broad rules for life:1. Live in the present 2. The past and future do not belong to you 3. You’re not promised tomorrow. There we go… Nothing grim, just celebrate today and enjoy it. Never know what the Lord could do in your life or others’ lives.

MORE CONTEXT…Past does not belong to you: Jesus told Zaccheus that He is coming to Z’s house, and Jesus said He will clean out everything bad of his past.Future does not belong to you: “Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”” (James 4:13-15).LIVE FOR TODAY! 😃“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. ” (Psalm 118:24).Also, remember 9/11….”Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11).

More truth, just saying:Anyone who practices sin or habitually attends to it is of the devil (1 John 3:8). God cannot be tempted of evil nor does God tempt people (James 1:13-15). Nobody can hide from God, and also the Son of God, Jesus Christ, is the only living being on Earth without sin (Hebrews 4:13-15). This is why I have taught that when you are saved, you are expected to leave the practice of sin, which means to avoid it. Some are caught in sin on accident or because of ignorance; however, the Holy Spirit is there to protect you by convicting you that it is not the right way. Therefore, you must know that to glorify God, we must be without sin. Think about it: This is our creator. And also, when you have left sin, you will notice dramatic improvement in health, because you have closed the vulnerabilities that the enemy can use to destroy your health. The devil tries to come to steal, kill, and destroy; however, Christ Jesus came to give you life and life more abundantly (John 10:10). Somebody give God a shout of praise! Hallelujah!

March 5, 2021: God is the creator who gives life to humanity and all living things. The world is His beautiful and “very good” creation (Genesis 1:31). God is the designer, the architect, the artist, the coder, and the life giver. He good, He is loving, and He takes delight in His Creation. (Journey the Word by Prophet Jason Allen Pfoutz – chapter 1)

We know of the Deity and personality of the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4), who regenerates sinners (Titus 3:5), indwells believers (Romans 8:9), is the agent by whom Christ baptizes all believers into His body (1 Corinthians 12:12-14), is the seal by whom the Father promises the salvation of believers unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14), and is the Divine Teacher who reveals the knowledge and wisdom of God to believers’ hearts and minds as they study the Word of God (1 Corinthians 2:9-12).

In case someone has the idea that they are not special, recognize the following facts…Those who are Saved in Jesus Christ have irrevocable God’s Holy Spirit within them, specifically the Spirit that speaks of Jesus Christ. The flesh may feel dead, but the Spirit is life due to righteousness (Romans 8:10). The greatest treasure lives in you (2 Corinthians 4:6-7), and Christ Jesus lives in you so you will have everlasting faith (Galatians 2:20).Our hearts are home for Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:17). I have seen the miracles of Christ Jesus’ Name being spoken, and right before me many healings and miracles happened. He is our True Hope (Colossians 1:27). Nobody has to suffer second death or hell if they are saved in Christ Jesus – it is an absolute fact (Matthew 25:31-46).Don’t be trapped in the world or the underworld, obtain life eternal now!

February 7, 2021: Do NOT let the devil convince you that God placed an illness on you or let you have an illness so He can use it for good. The Lord may use situations for good; however, what you need to know is… Jesus healed all who came to Him (Matthew 12:15; Luke 4:40; John 14:12; Mark 6:56). If God was going around using illness to draw people close to Him, then how’s come Jesus healed ALL of them? God desires that you are healed, and by faith, you will receive the promise Jesus Christ made to you and on your behalf since He is the High Priest! (Psalms 103:2-6 and Hebrews 2:9).Endnote: If people are concerned with why Paul had a thorn in his flesh, it was because he saw the third heaven — How many people have had this happen? Very few and it was around the time of Jesus’ First Advent. I simply do not accept anyone who says that God is using sickness to draw people close to Him. God just draws people, regardless of sickness or not – adverse use of sin or not much sin – and so many other contrasting viewpoints. Put simply, the Bible does not reveal God uses sickness for His Purposes, because He allowed Jesus to willingly bear all of it so that we His People did not ever have to. If you are sick, then God wants you healed, so come to the fountain and receive a fresh outpouring! Praise the Lord!P.S. This is something most pastors and spiritual leaders will not mention, because like doctors, they want you to keep coming back to their “practice.” I don’t want to play church. I want serious things happening to serious believers, and start experiencing Heaven now. Forget the infirmity… I’d rather have peace, joy, righteousness, and love in the Holy Ghost forever and ever. Amen!

January 26, 2021: Double your portion they said… But they didn’t equip the disciple with the most important advice… Do everything in love. Come on, we need more love, love, love – not money, money, money – for ministry. Folks crave the oil of anointing, but not the oil of anointing found in the love of God. Ministry is not new age practices of applying essential oils to humans, saying you are healed, and then expecting God to “just take care of it” – when YOU the MINISTER have the power to trample scorpions, heal the sick, do miracles, deliver people from demons, and more. Applying anointing oil is a cup of blessing from God, who is the love that people need. If people cannot feel the love of the Father when they are anointed, then the anointing is a clanging cymbal – a show in other words. Don’t let your ministry be an acrobatic show — Let it be a ministry of love unto our Lord in Heaven. This prophecy must be shared. Thanks from our Lord.

January 21, 2021: Picture this: The Jewish system was in place when Christ Jesus walked the Earth. Their claims were the following: Grace does not exist because Yahweh is too holy to give out grace, so you have to follow the Mosaic Law just like everyone else. They told Jesus, being born Jewish, that He was to be obedient to the Law and stop the uprising. What the Jewish system did not know was that Jesus came to reform the Law, because He carries the Heart of the Father G-D to seek and save that which was lost. What was lost? The ability to be righteous, joy, and peace by the Holy Ghost. So why did Jesus press so hard? Because… Just because. The Heart of the Father is expressed in all things Jesus had done, but the Jewish leaders thought He was a reprobate. But, as you should know, Jesus was not a reprobate, and He came to show the Father’s Love so that we might be saved of the coming destruction of the earth. Therefore, you must know that the earth is melting and the elements are taxing the globe. Think global warming is a catastrophe like the government does… The government works for God. BUT, the government cannot stop global warming. The earth is melting just as we saw in prophecy. Jesus warned of the end of days, and they began after He was crucified and arose on the Third Day. We will begin to see day two of Revelation prophecy in the coming weeks, months, years — It’s not up to us to know the times and seasons of the LORD. Therefore, we await His Return, and thankfully us Saved humans won’t melt as the sun is getting closer to Earth every single day (look at Space Weather and NASA studies on how close the earth is getting now). Bible prophecy is being made real before our very eyes. We do not need to worry though, because once we were saved by Jesus Christ, we became part of Him and will escape destruction. This is the good news of the Gospel. Now that is something to whoa or wow about!See references: Matthew 5-7; Mark 1:40-44; (not reprobate) Mark 2:23-28; Mark 3:31-35; (prophecy on Earth melting): Isaiah 24:6; 64:1-5; Malachi 4:1; (confirmed prophecy – the scroll is opened) 2 Peter 3:10-13; Revelation 16:8-9.

January 19, 2021: Feel your value tonight… You are associated with GOD Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth. You are the creator of your own little world just as He created His World. You are part of His World. You have the ability to live, create, shape, manipulate, divert, and blossom your Earthly destiny, but nobody can change your true Heavenly destiny. Once you live in Heaven on Earth, your mind will restore to the purpose God has you here for. Experiencing the definition of love every day in perceivable/tangible things is one of the great ways to experience GOD. What a beautiful experience to be chosen to do this, for Him, forever. We cannot be plucked out of His Hand. This is for you to take the helm and gird up your loins – you are ahead of the battle, you saw it coming, and now you are the victor, because the battle was already won by Christ Jesus when He was buried, but resurrected. He saw the end from the beginning so that we could have an expected end: the New Heavens and New Earth. But patience, pleading patience, to be here and endure the fullness of time. New Heaven and New Earth will not appear until God revokes the fullness of time and destroys Heaven and Earth as we know it. Keep Heaven in view, because it is here and now. GOD came and dwelt among men, and declared these are the last days. Be ready to see His Glory in your everyday life. Once you do that, expect only the best and never the worst. Do not catastrophize your days, but cling to each ONE DAY moment by moment. We are only promised ONE DAY at a time, and to enjoy moment by moment. We know and are rejoicing in who GOD is. Death is a lie, and we reign forever and ever in His Kingdom. This is the truth of the Gospel. Stand with your prophet here and dive into God’s Work. It is amazingly rewarding and completely beneficial now and eternally. Hallelujah!

THAT IS ALL FOR NOW. THANKS FOR BEING PART OF OUR MINISTERIAL WORK!

Top Christmas or Hanukkah gift recommendations for any believer | Holiday special 6

We have decided to put a gift list recommendation for any believer, which is known to be a great tool. We do hope you find these useful… NOTICE: There are no affiliate links or store links on this page. You will find links to other parts of our site.

For the avid Bible scholar

1611 King James Bible

We have a review of this.

The Geneva Bible

This one is a good to have kind of Bible, even though we know many Bible scholars have many Bibles – what’s another one? But seriously, reading at least one pre-1611 Bible would be nice and refreshing to see.

For any believer

Giant or Large print Genuine Leather-bound Bible with Words of Christ in Red

Now, the wide margin, notes editions, and pulpit reference Bibles are nice (including the Instant Reference Bible); however, if you only want a regular Bible, feel free.

Accessories

Micron pens: These are very good and precise to underline in the Bible certain Scriptures.

Bible highlighters: These help very well, since normal highlighters can bleed through the pages of thin paper Bibles (which are almost universal).

Bible covers: These are very useful for people who want to take their Bible everywhere with them and want it to be protected.

Mini-dictionary: There are many mini Bible dictionaries that define words, which are usually more expansive than many glossaries included in the back of the Bible.

Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance: This is for more avid Bible scholars, but many people can learn how to use them. They are by far more expansive than concordances in the back of Bibles. They also include Greek and Hebrew word references, which helps some scholars.

Bible indexing tabs: If your Bible is not already indexed or they are either wearing off or not good enough, then definitely check out indexing tabs.

Bookmarks and ribbon markers: These are great for marking your place in a Bible or other reference, and the ones with Bible verses are especially nice!

Arts and crafts: This is especially good for family activities and for children.

Lessons from the Bible on clean and unclean meats | Holiday special 5

The Bible speaks rather intently about clean and unclean meats, which was mainly for the Jews to follow; however, following the guidelines is proven to boost health significantly and make our bodies better for God’s Work. We are doing this in time for the holidays to instruct you on the better ways to eat, especially if you want to avoid gaining excess weight or doing something unhealthy (like maybe over-snacking on candy LOL).

Notice: God gave His Laws to instruct us on what is right and wrong, not as a means to strictly enforce things in our life or have a complicated conscience. They are for our own protection. Now, we don’t practice as the Jews do when it comes to strict enforcement of laws; however, sin is never tolerated by God, and a good believer knows to repent before God when he or she has sinned.

For most of the laws, there are certain risks with consuming certain foods. For example, pork is extremely popular; however, the Israelites were informed by God that it is forbidden, because diseases they might catch if they consume it, such as Trichinosis (ref). God is the authority on our conduct, and He never changes. Things did not suddenly change for God’s Law to be followed once Christ Jesus liberated the Law, because that does not modify who God is. Christ Jesus fulfilled the Law, but He did not abolish it, which meant it was still to be followed to best of a person’s ability, but that the Christian should not feel so guilty, but still repent, to show God that they are interested in pleasing Him.

Nothing will stave off the consequences of breaking God’s Law. For example, adultery and sexual immorality can destroy marriages and family, stealing can land someone in jail, and numerous other calamities that people can suffer. As said before, the Law was given to help people understand what right and wrong is, so that they can avoid those consequences. Using “liberation” doctrine to give yourself a license to sin is obviously wrong, and the Bible does not teach this whatsoever. To teach that sin is acceptable is to blaspheme God (see Ezekiel 20:27; Romans 6:1-2; 1 John 3:6; Romans 6:15-23).

Man alone cannot please God, but with Christ, all things are possible including pleasing God. Life is all about relationships: with God, with others, with animals, with plants, with foods, with material things, etc. It’s how the human mind works. God’s Word is not just a legal book, it is a book about God’s Love being demonstrated in all facets of life to send to each of His People only the best that they deserve and to challenge them. Life is also about challenges, for they prepare us for Heaven!

As relationships develop, we learn what these relationships expect of us. For example, we learn about what God expects from us, and this is highest calling, one that we should never be reprobate to. His direction and instruction provide guidelines for developing this relationship with Him. It is awesome! Everything good and respectful to God in this life is worth it!

7 Lessons we can draw from the Christmas Story | Holiday special 4

From what we have observed, Christmas is one of the best times in our lives that we celebrate. There are numerous reasons why we celebrate the Christmas story, knowing first and foremost Christmas is about Jesus Christ!

What we can glean from the Bible are important truths that help us take shape an even greater story. It is hoped that these guide you into this holiday season!

1. God’s Forgiveness is available to all

We see in Isaiah 11:1-2, “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.”

We hear in the song, “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” that “God and sinners reconciled.” This is the amazing truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He provides Salvation and eternal life, and this comes from the benefit of forgiveness of sins. We see the ministry of reconciliation that God came in the form of man, Jesus Christ, to “Save His People from sin.” What an awesome thing we have in Christ!

2. God is in control of leadership of the world

Romans 13:1 says, “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.”

Our God, who has made the earth, stars, universe, heavens, and more is our commanding leader overall! Peace is within the Prince of Peace, and He alone provides rest for our souls. God regards our lowliness as well, and provides us forgiveness. He is our Great Shepherd (Psalm 23).

3. Christ Jesus is our Shepherd

Psalm 23 describes Our Lord is Our Shepherd. Ezekiel 34:15, “I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.”

Christ Jesus came to impute upon us peace, and lead and guide us through Life more abundantly. The hope of eternal life can be for all people, and we do hope we can spread it evermore to so many people.

He provides us our daily provisions, He gives us rest for our souls (as we noted above), He helps us by delivering us from evil and death, and gives us goodness and mercy forevermore.

4. God grants peace as we wait upon Him

Just as prophesied in Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Then, we see powerful truth in Romans 16:20, “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.” Also note 2 Thessalonians 3:16, “Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.”

When we reflect upon God, we allow His Spirit to speak to us. We reflect on the wonder of God, our Creator, and all the beautiful things He has created! It’s truly amazing.

5. God can powerfully perform the impossible

Matthew 19:26 says, “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

God really can do the impossible, for with Him, all things are possible. He can help in almost any situation, save us from trouble, and help improve our lives. This is something we must truly believe, for He can truly help us. Since He can help us, we know we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).

6. God is our utmost provider

God provided the Passover lamb for us, who was born in to this world, the redeemer, Jesus Christ: “And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together” (Genesis 22:8).

This is proven in Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

7. Heaven is going to be so awesome

Knowing we had this great and merciful Savior from Heaven come, we better believe so many great things are awaiting us for our eternal destiny in Heaven!

John 14:1-3 tells us the first magnificent truth, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told* you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 then tells us that we cannot imagine the awesomeness, but must know that it is so overwhelmingly awesome… “But as it is written*, Eye hath not seen, nor* ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”

Now, we discover one of the most awesome things in Revelation 21:3-4, “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

We will have new bodies eventually… 1 Corinthians 15:40 says, “There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.” Then also in 1 Corinthians 15:54, “So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”

What will it look like (kind of)… Revelation 21:18-23, “And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”

Overall, Salvation, eternal life, Christ Jesus coming, and all great things that pertain to life and godliness – How Awesome!

God truly is love! It’s amazing!

We cite many nouns in describing God, the truly existent God of all. God is Spirit, God is One, God is everywhere, and God is Love. Now, in terms of love, it involves human feelings. 1 John 4 describes God as Love twice. God is called agape (God loves humanity). This means that this is one of the characteristics of God. This means that God is the most self-sacrificial being in the universe, for coming down as Jesus and dying on the cross for our sins. Nonetheless, love is not our God, but our God is Love.

He is the perfect picture of what love really means. God chose to love this world, even if it were fallen and in error. We are His Beloved Humans. We respond to His Love, and we are blessed truly with new life. His unconditional self-sacrificial love is all we need to lead a truly awesome life.

GOD LOVES YOU! For John 3:16-18 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

If you know what GOD’s love is, however, you’d see it as unconditional and uncaused. You’d see GOD’s love as encompassing over everything. Love may be described as the most important thing ever in history. Because of love, GOD created the Earth. Because of love, GOD sent His Son (as referenced above), and allowed His Holy Spirit to come and dwell within us (John 20:22). GOD’s ultimate purpose for all this? To fellowship and share with His people, and to do it through love. Love never ends, just as stated above.

We did nothing to initiate this love. And even when we’ve sinned, caused every issue against humanity…GOD STILL LOVES US! So, if people judge you, are hateful toward you, and even despise you – there will still be GOD who LOVES YOU WITH ALL HIS HEART! His love never fails, never gives up, and never runs out (Psalm 107:1-22 and Psalm 136:1-26 and Lamentations 3:22-24).

Are presents, a tree, lights, tinsel, and more something the Bible teaches? | Holiday special 2

There are many discussions floating around the internet and YouTube about Christmas being a pagan holiday. However, this is found to be far from the truth. There are many components of Christmas that have been placed higher than Jesus Christ, which is sad, because we should be worshiping Christ at Christmas. It is all about Him!

What do presents, lights, a tree, tinsel, ribbon, etc. have to do with Christ then? Does the Bible actually support these things? We think it does. Let’s go through each segment of Christmas generally and review them according to the Bible.

Tree

So the old Douglas/Balsam/Fraser/Canaan/Grand/Noble/Concolor Fir, or the White/Scotch/Virginia Pine, how about the Blue/Norway/White Spruce, or how about the Arizona/Leyland Cypress, or even the Red Cedar? That’s about 16 types of Christmas trees. But what does the Bible say about them?

We learn about the Cedars of Lebanon, found in Isaiah 35:2; 60:13. It is a symbol of Lebanon. This is a good reference that means that the Bible acknowledges trees and loves them. It is a sign of life!

Lights

Very simply the Christmas lights mean the Light of the World that we acknowledge and love: Jesus Christ! (John 8:12). Any lights that are lit must remind us of Jesus being the Light of the World.

Tinsel

Jeremiah 10:3-4, “3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.”

Although it says these customs are vanity, if someone feels better to do them, then do them as unto the Lord!

Ribbons, bows, and other decor

Incidentally, this is not found in the Bible. Therefore, it is up to the person to decide if they can glorify God with ribbons and bows.

Presents and gifts

Gift giving is encouraged in the Bible. Look in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

But God gifted the most perfect gift: Jesus Christ, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17; see also John 3:16).

Singing songs

This can be found in many Scriptures: the Psalms, Isaiah 44:23; 49:13; Acts 16:25.

Concluding

As you can see, many of these things point to Jesus Christ and we can feel glad that they do, for it is important to worship Jesus Christ at Christmas and enjoy the manifestation of His Presence at all times!

Is Santa Claus someone to acknowledge? | Holiday special 1

As we have taken off for the 2020 Holiday season, it is my pleasure to discuss a commonly questioned topic. This is involved in many different things about Christmas, and that is Santa Claus. We first compare the Santa Claus in fiction right now with Jesus Christ, and then we discuss who the real Santa Claus is supposed to be.

Santa ClausJesus Christ
Lives at the north poleHe is found everywhere
Rides in a sleighRides the wind and walks on water
Comes once a yearHe is an ever-present help
Fills stockings with goodiesSupplies all our needs
Comes down the chimney uninvitedStands at the door of your heart and knocks, and will come in if invited.
You wait in line to see himHe is as close as the mention of His Name
Lets you sit on his lapLets you rest in His Arms
He does not know your nameJesus knew about us before the world was created
Has a belly full of jellyHas a heart full of love
Says Ho Ho HoJesus offers help, hope, and full health
Says you better not cryHe says, “Cast all your cares on me for I care for you!”
His elves make toysGives new life, mends broken hearts and homes
Might make you laughGives us unspeakable joy
Puts gifts under your treeJesus became our gift and died on the tree.

The real Saint Nicholas

Nicholas of Myra or Bari was a Christian bishop. He lived around 270-343 AD, which was during the time of the Roman Empire. He was especially known for his generosity and nice things he did for many people. He reigned as a Christian bishop during the time of the rule of Constantine the Great in the Roman Empire.

If we are going to celebrate Christmas, we celebrate Jesus Christ at all times. It is fine to acknowledge Santa Claus, but keep in mind that it should point to the Christian bishop of old, not the novelty one as illustrated in the chart above. It is hoped this is a help to guide you in the right direction, not to take away your fun, but to make your morals better!

Apostle John’s relationship with Jesus Christ

  • John had a unique relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • John referred to Jesus as the Word of God.
  • He was known as one of the “sons of thunder.”
  • He was known as “John the Elder and Pastor.”
  • He was ordained in his youth, wherein he learned from Jesus.
  • John was part of “The Inner Circle” (which was Peter, James, and John with Jesus).
  • John refers to himself as the “one whom Jesus loves.”
  • Commissioned to write about many topics, including “The Divinity of Love,” “Real Christianity,” “God’s Will,” etc.
  • He lived through the time of Jesus’ teachings, Transfiguration, Death, Burial, Resurrection, and Ascension.
  • He also lived through the forming of the first Church, as well as the persecution of the Christians.
  • He witnessed his brother James’ martyrdom.
  • He pastored the great Church at Ephesus.
  • He was eventually banished to the Isle of Patmos, wherein he received the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
  • He had a flashing temper, which was why he was called one of the “sons of thunder.”
  • He became known as the “Apostle of Love.”

John’s declaration of Jesus was that “He is full of Truth and Glory, He is the Only Begotten of the Father.” This was found in John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

John had knowledge of foundational truths of Jesus and the Gospel; therefore, he was entrusted to such writings. John bore record of the Word of God, and had a testimony of Jesus Christ and the things, in which, he had seen. John was singled out by God to deliver to us the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

John the Beloved has a unique relationship with Jesus Christ, which was similar to the other Johns. But, what distinguished John the Beloved was that he was filled with the love of Christ. Mark 3:14-19: “And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: And Simon he surnamed Peter; And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder: And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite, And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

The Inner Circle means to me that it was a small group of people who held a more intimate connection with each other. Although Jesus worked with all His Disciples, He liked also to work with individual things, so having a small group was what He had done. The Inner Circle seemed to be Peter, James, and John, because these three were the most common to be seen with Jesus in a more intimate setting. Some of the examples include being with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:37-41), when Jesus raised a ruler’s daughter from the dead (Mark 5:35-38), at the Transfiguration (Mark 9:2, Luke 9:28-29), and during a private consultation about the end times and false christs (Mark 13:3-7). James and John are also noted as being partnered with Simon (Peter) in Luke 5:10, and they followed Christ (Luke 5:10-11).

1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

The first Truth that we see in this lesson is “We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous” (1 John 2:1-2, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”). We confess our sins and He only has the power to forgive and cleanse from sin!

Then, in 1 John 2:3-5, we see evidence that He dwells in us and this is how we know Him. It is a way He perfects us. The Word accompanied by the Holy Ghost gives life. So, if He is perfecting us, it’s because of the Word in us working, which is evidence we’re in Him. “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.”

In 1 John 2:6, we see that we shall abide in Him, walk with Him, and Trust Him in every circumstance in our life – if done, is evidence that He abides in us and that we’re in fellowship with Him. Also, abiding in His Word gives us endurance for every season of our lives. We must portray His footsteps in our life, and that as Jesus is obedience to the Father, we shall be also! “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”

Next, we see in 1 John 2:7-11 the evidence of knowing Him is found in our love. When we try to witness or evangelize, the world can sense the true spirit of Love inside us. “Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.”

In 1 John 2:12-14, we see that Jesus Christ has overcome satan, which is evidence that we’re in a relationship with the Lord. We, then, are overcomers also, being children of God. “I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.”

For 1 John 2:15-17, we see another evidence that we know God, for our relationship is better for lacking love for the things of the world. We are not to love anything of the world, for the result of such is that the love of the Father isn’t in us. We see issues to avoid that are in the world, which involve the lust of the flesh and of the eyes, and the pride of life. “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”

More truths we see in 1 John 2:18-23, as this is a Prophetical Word regarding the End-Time. Unity of the Spirit will be the evidence that we know God, and that we’ll not be led astray by the antichrist. We need to let His love surpass our self-will that we can all walk together in the faith of Jesus Christ. “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”

Christ in us is apparent when the fragrance of His presence is in our lives. Exodus 29:7 says, “Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.” Exodus 30:23-25 says, “Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels, And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin: And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.” David writes that Jesus is the Anointed One as we see in Psalm 45:7, “Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.”

John confirms such truths that he writes and warns us against deception, as we see in 1 John 2:26, “These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.” Even more truths are revealed to us in 1 John 2:24-29, as we see that we will remain in the Father and the Son as long as we walk in the light, be honest with ourselves, confess our troubles & deal with sin, speak the truth, walk in integrity, and being an example overall of Jesus Christ. We fulfil such desire for relationship with the Lord if we hide His Word in our heart. “Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.”

In 1 John 2:25, we see a promise that occurs when we abide in Him: “And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.” Then, we see in 1 John 2:26-27 that John has told us that he writes such things concerning them that seduce you or try to lead one into error – but, we have an anointing that abides in us, that is Jesus the Anointed One, who will teach us – so that we don’t have to worry of new doctrines or false teachers. “These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”

As we finish out the chapter in the last two verses, 1 John 2:28-29, we see the result of abiding in Him: that we may have confidence and be unashamed before Him at His coming. If we know He’s righteous, then those that do righteousness are born of Him! Abide in Him through everything, because He will bring to us peace and confidence. “And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.”

1 John 2:27 says, “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” The anointing that we’ve received from the Lord abides in us, therefore, no one else needs to teach us of the anointing but the Anointed One, who is Jesus that lives in us. The anointing, I will say, teaches us to abide in Christ. It also keeps us drawn in to Him!

It’s also to note that many false teachers have a “special anointing” as claimed, so we’re admonished here that God anoints us, and that with Jesus being within us, He teaches us of the anointing so that we don’t have to worry about false teachers coming along and telling us of some “special” ungodly anointing they have (and how we can obtain it). All believers already have the true and correct anointing when they trust and abide in the Anointed One. Last thing to note: we receive this anointing as a gift, which is a graceful gift from the Lord. We don’t squander this gift, because it is part of our salvation. Therefore, we must also realize that we don’t need to “get God” in our lives, for we already have Him. We don’t need to try to get His anointing…we already have it!

We know God by His Word, because His Word is Jesus Christ. 1 John 5:20 says, “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” The Son has revealed the Father unto us by helping us understand Him!

The proof of Divine Life as we see in this study is love. God bestowed His love upon us, that we should be called the sons of God. Now we are the sons of God, and when He appears, we shall be like Him and see Him as He is! (1 John 3:1-2)

The Manner of Love that the Father bestowed upon us is that we should be called the sons of God. “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.”

Those who abide in Him will not sin, for them that have sin has not seen Him or known Him. In addition, that no man should deceive you, for he that does righteousness is righteous. Therefore, whoever is born of God does not commit sin.

We have two natures; those are “spiritual” and “carnal.” These natures are at war within us. We who have an understanding of the law, spiritually, we know in our experience that the law is spiritual, but that our inner man is carnal. Being carnal, a man is fleshly and incapable of being obedient unto the law – for this is where spiritual and carnal war, because our spiritual man is leading us into things of the law, but the carnal man is leading us away (– because it is incapable of being obedient). We see in Romans 7:5, “For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.” Sadly, we cannot escape this carnal way while in our flesh, as we see in Romans 7:18, “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.” The flesh naturally does not know how to be obedient or perform good so it therefore wars against the spiritual. It’s a dilemma.

There will be many ways that a person accepts and applies the Word unto their life. Some are by the way side, which are those that hear – and then come the devil that takes it away from their hearts. Those that are on the rock hear and receive the Word with joy, but they have no root – so in the time of temptation, they fall away/sin. Those that are among thorns are they that hear and receive the Word, but go forth and are choked with the cares, riches, and pleasures of this life – to which they bear no fruit. However, those that are on good ground hear and receive the Word in an honest and good heart – keep it and bring forth fruit with patience. Overall, you have most people who are not on good ground, and need shepherded back to the Lord’s ways.

Jesus’ love was His laying down of His life for us, therefore, we should be the same way in our relationships with others. We should be willing to sacrifice. We don’t necessarily have to sacrifice our life, but general sacrifice is what brings love’s true nature. Therefore, if our brother has need, we need to sacrifice our time and help. If our friend calls on us, we should have patience and see to what he/she needs. For Jesus did the greatest sacrifice so that we would not have to deal with the sacrificial system anymore, therefore, we need to apply the principle of sacrifice unto our lives in our relationships with others. The example of family he gives us is that of Cain and Abel. His heart is burdensome for people not to repeat the sin of murder like in the situation of Cain and Abel.

Nonetheless, the Assurance of Jesus’ Love is found in 1 John 3:19-24, “And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”

God’s commandments are not grievous – this means burdensome in that His Commandments, rather, are an expression of His Love and protection for us. They are not burdensome, especially when they are kept. We receive the love of God when we keep His Commandments (1 John 5:3). The test of our love is loving as Jesus loved! He loved us first while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). When we walk in the love of Jesus, there is love for the saints!

What is required in the Prosperous Road is that we walk in the Truth overall. Ephesians 2:10, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 4:1-2, “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;”

Ephesians 5:2, “And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” Colossians 1:10, “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;” Colossians 2:6-7, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” 1 John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 2 John 1:6, “And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.”
